IDEC AGRO & Factory, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving food factories, has just started work on a new production site for BRIOCHES FONTENEAU. This project in excess of 4300 m² will require a year of work. The first sods were dug in September.
THE BRIOCHE SPECIALIST
BRIOCHES FONTENEAU has stood out for more than forty years in the manufacture of brioches and pastries. Since its creation, the firm has been based in Vendée from where it distributes its products throughout France and abroad. One of the brands, which contributed to its reputation, was of course the Vendée Brioche, referred to in French as a Gâche, which is part of a long tradition going back to the Middle Ages.
A NEW MANUFACTURING UNIT
Faced with constant growth in its business, the firm wanted to build a new production site. BRIOCHES FONTENEAU currently has two factories, both in Vendée, where production capacity is close to being fully taken up. This new project aims to deal too with the development of new products.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION BY IDEC AGRO & FACTORY
BRIOCHES FONTENEAU entrusted IDEC AGRO & Factory with the design and construction of this new industrial project. Its teams worked with their client from the initial design phase to guide them through their technical and industrial choices before designing the entire construction of this food factory. The engineers and site managers from IDEC AGRO & Factory are now preparing the construction of this project.
12 MONTHS OF WORK
It will take twelve months to erect this 4300 m² production unit. The building will include a large manufacturing area covering more than 2000m², a storage area for the raw materials, another one for the finished products and a third one for pallets. Equipment and maintenance areas and staff rooms are also included in this project.
