Thebault Ingénierie, the designer and builder of turnkey projects of food factories is working with MITI on the development of its new production site in Rezé. After three months of work, we look at the state of play at this 4000 m² project being built near the future wholesale market in Nantes.
MITI, a firm specialising in the transformation of seafood and in particular shrimps, is relying on the teams at Thebault Ingénierie to design and build its new production site. The aim is to improve productivity and rationalise the flows, so the firm is relying on its new facilities to develop its business.
“Work is progressing according to schedule with the landscaping and the establishment of underground networks,” explained Johann, Works manager for Thebault Ingénierie. “Our teams are about to start on the platform, access routes,the main structures and then the metal framework.”
Thanks to its huge experience in the food sector, Thebault Ingénierie stood out in the design phase to accompany MITI in the choice of materials, equipment and the required air treatment systems needed in the food processng with the cooking of seafood in salt water.
