Work began on 2nd May on the office construction programme “LA FACTORY” for FAUBOURG PROMOTION, the project’s developer, but also on the future headquarters for a subsidiary of the IDEC Group, THEBAULT INGENIERIE. This operation proves once again how the IDEC Group is committed to development in the Brittany region.
Located to the east of Rennes, the LA FACTORY programme offers ideal access and an excellent future close to the ring-road and high-speed trains. FAUBOURG PROMOTION, the planner and developer of business property, managed to develop a project offering a maximum level of comfort to those who will be using the buildings thanks to large bay windows, high quality materials such as zinc and brick, modular surfaces, a common landscaped area, outdoor and basement car parks, BREEAM certification…
One of the buildings with a surface area of 2400 m², will become home to the headquarters of THEBAULT INGENIERIE, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey industrial buildings for the food processing sector. The teams at Thebault Ingénierie worked alongside Faubourg Promotion on the architectural design of the project and are also in charge of the construction.
The second building, once the sales are complete, will see firms wishing to set up in a protected environment, with ease of access and a high level of comfort, while respecting the environment and encouraging a friendly atmosphere. We should add that another Idec Group project is underway in Cesson-Sévigné (Ille et Vilaine) by IDEC, designer and builder of turnkey business projects for the logistics sector with the demolition and construction of an extension of a delivery service for GEODIS, which will be handed over at the end of the year.
